Because of my love for music as well as art, album covers were my first expression of design. Without limit to genre or appearance, I work with artists all over the world, to produce unique cover art.
Many of my covers include illustration, which is often what sets my covers apart. Together we will form a concept for your cover, and then I will capture the likeness of what we’ve dreamt up, and work to make it even greater!
My process for album covers is simple:
- We will discuss your song and vision. I’ll offer ideas, or run with yours.
- I’ll quote you for the cost and the estimated design time, as both can differ depending on the intricacy of your concept. Once we’ve come to an agreement, I’ll collect a deposit of 50% and start your project.
- You’ll receive the first draft promptly and can request edits or changes. Typically the price quoted will include 4 edits without any additional fees*. Edits will be completed in a timely manner so that the final project can be delivered within the projected time frame.
-Once a final proof is approved, the remaining 50% is due prior to design delivery. Should you decide to add a motion graphic option for promotion of the album/EP, you can do so at this point.
While we live in a very digital world and your cover might only be used for online sources like Apple Music, Google Play, Spotify or Soundcloud, your cover art will be sized to 3,000 x 3,000 pixels and at a 300 dpi to allow for quality prints.
* Digitally illustrated covers may only include one basic edit in the cost, as it can be difficult to alter some content.
